For me life’s energy originates in the tension between joy and sadness. The sum of all of your experiences are an invaluable asset to your existence. I have learned so many lessons - some good, some bad, some heartbreaking. I’ve faced and lived through so many challenges that I can help others to face theirs. I find that very important, that I have something to give. I feel people’s appreciation which in return adds to my joy of living. Many refer to me as ‘gran’. Not only my own grandchildren. It’s an honorary title I wear with pride.
