GRANDPARENTS

Family is every important to me. All the generations are interconnected. Your parents, your grandparents and possibly even your great grandparents; they all are a part of you.
They are your roots and add to your sense of belonging. Grandparenting, just as parenting, is a skill you pass on. Since I never got to know my own grandparents I had to figure ‘grandparenting’ out myself. In the end it does come naturally, but I do stop and wonder from time to time how they would have acted in a given situation.
